Description

Decadent Mint Oreo Truffles with a rich chocolate coating and creamy mint filling, perfect for any celebration.


Ingredients

  • 1 package Oreo cookies (approximately 36 cookies)
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 tsp peppermint extract
  • 1 tbsp coconut oil (optional)

Instructions

  1. Crush the Oreo cookies into fine crumbs using a food processor.
  2. Combine the crushed Oreos with softened cream cheese in a mixing bowl and blend until creamy.
  3. Add peppermint extract and fold gently into the mixture.
  4. Shape the mixture into small balls, about one inch in diameter, and place them on a lined baking sheet.
  5. Freeze for approximately 30 minutes until firm.
  6. Melt the chocolate chips and coconut oil in a microwave-safe bowl until smooth.
  7. Dip each frozen truffle into the melted chocolate and let the excess drip off.
  8. Refrigerate until the chocolate hardens, roughly 20 to 30 minutes.
