Description

Mocha Cheesecake Delight is a luscious dessert that combines the rich flavors of coffee and chocolate with a velvety cream cheese base. Each bite offers a smooth, creamy texture that melts in your mouth, complemented by a hint of espresso that awakens the senses.

  • Crust:
    • 1 ½ cups graham cracker crumbs
    • ½ cup unsalted butter, melted
    • ¼ cup granulated sugar
  • Filling:
    • 24 oz cream cheese, softened
    • 1 cup granulated sugar
    • 3 large eggs
    • 1 cup sour cream
    • ½ cup brewed espresso, cooled
    • 1 tsp vanilla extract
    • ½ cup cocoa powder
  • Topping:
    • 1 cup heavy whipping cream
    • 2 tbsp powdered sugar
    • 1 oz dark chocolate, grated

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 325°F (160°C).
  2. In a bowl, combine graham cracker crumbs, melted butter, and sugar. Press the mixture into the bottom of a 9-inch springform pan to form the crust.
  3. Bake the crust for 10 minutes, then remove and let it cool.
  4. In a large mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese and granulated sugar until smooth and creamy.
  5. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
  6. Stir in the sour cream, cooled espresso, vanilla extract, and cocoa powder until fully combined.
  7. Pour the filling over the cooled crust and smooth the top.
  8. Bake for 55-60 minutes, or until the center is set but slightly jiggly. The edges should be firm.
  9. Turn off the oven and let the cheesecake cool in the oven with the door ajar for 1 hour.
  10. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight before serving.
  11. Before serving, whip the heavy cream with powdered sugar until soft peaks form, then spread over the cheesecake and sprinkle with grated chocolate.
