- 1 1/2 cups warm water

- 1 can (28 ounces) crushed tomatoes

- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions
- Mix the Dough: In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour, instant yeast, salt, and sugar.
- Bring it Together: Add warm water and olive oil, mixing until the dough begins to come together.
- Knead Away: Transfer the dough to a floured surface and knead for approximately 10 minutes.
- First Rise: Place the dough into a greased bowl, covering it with a clean cloth. Let it rise in a warm place for about 60 minutes.
- Preheat the Oven: Set your oven to 475°F (245°C).
- Simmer the Sauce: In a saucepan, heat the crushed tomatoes, dried oregano, salt, and pepper. Let it simmer on low for about 10 minutes.
- Form the Crust: Once the dough has risen, punch it down gently and transfer it to your greased baking pan.
- Add the Sauce: Spread the tomato sauce over the dough.
- Cheese It Up: Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella generously over the sauced pizza.
- Bake to Perfection: Place the pan in the oven and bake for 20-25 minutes.
- Cool and Serve: Allow the pizza to cool slightly, then garnish with fresh basil, slice, and serve.
Notes
Make the dough a day in advance for more flavor. You can use air fryer if needed.
