Description

This No-Bake German Chocolate Pie is a luscious dessert that combines a rich chocolate filling with a creamy coconut and pecan topping. The smooth texture of the chocolate contrasts beautifully with the crunchy, nutty topping, creating a delightful flavor experience that melts in your mouth.

Ingredients

Scale
  • Crust:
    • 1 ½ cups graham cracker crumbs
    • ½ cup unsalted butter, melted
    • ¼ cup granulated sugar
  • Filling:
    • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
    • 1 cup powdered sugar
    • 1 cup heavy whipping cream
    • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
    • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • Topping:
    • 1 cup sweetened shredded coconut
    • 1 cup chopped pecans
    • ½ cup caramel sauce

Instructions

  1. In a medium bowl, combine graham cracker crumbs, melted butter, and granulated sugar. Mix until well combined.
  2. Press the mixture into the bottom and up the sides of a 9-inch pie pan to form the crust. Refrigerate for 30 minutes to set.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth and creamy.
  4. In a separate bowl, whip the heavy cream until stiff peaks form, then gently fold it into the cream cheese mixture.
  5. Melt the chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl in 30-second intervals, stirring until smooth. Allow to cool slightly, then fold into the cream cheese mixture.
  6. Pour the filling into the prepared crust and smooth the top. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours or until set.
  7. Before serving, mix the shredded coconut and chopped pecans in a bowl. Drizzle with caramel sauce and stir to combine.
  8. Spread the coconut-pecan topping over the chilled pie and serve cold.
