Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup white miso paste
  • 1/4 cup sake
  • 1/4 cup mirin
  • 1/4 cup sugar

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix the white miso paste, sake, mirin, and sugar until well combined.
  2. Coat the black cod fillets with the miso mixture, ensuring they are fully covered.
  3. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 24 hours, preferably 48 hours.
  4. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  5. Remove the fillets from the marinade and wipe off excess miso.
  6. Place the fillets on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  7. Bake for 10-15 minutes, or until the fish is cooked through and caramelized on top.
