A delightful side dish featuring Brussels sprouts glazed with a sweet and tangy orange maple sauce, complemented by the tartness of cranberries.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb Brussels sprouts, trimmed and halved
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup
  • 1/2 cup fresh orange juice
  • 1/2 cup dried cranberries
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine the Brussels sprouts, olive oil, salt, and pepper.
  3. Spread the Brussels sprouts on a baking sheet in a single layer.
  4. Roast in the oven for 20-25 minutes, or until tender and caramelized.
  5. In a small saucepan, combine the maple syrup and orange juice. Bring to a simmer over medium heat.
  6. Once the Brussels sprouts are done, remove them from the oven and drizzle the orange maple glaze over them.
  7. Add the dried cranberries and toss to combine.
  8. Return to the oven for an additional 5 minutes.
  9. Serve warm and enjoy!
