- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1 packet active dry yeast
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 large egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup crushed Oreo cookies
- 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup cream cheese
- 1/4 cup powdered sugar
- 1 tablespoon milk (for icing)
Instructions
- In a small bowl, warm the milk and dissolve the yeast in it.
- In a large bowl, mix flour, sugar, and salt.
- Add the yeast mixture, melted butter, egg, and vanilla extract to the dry ingredients and mix until a dough forms.
- Knead the dough for about 5 minutes until smooth, then let it rise for 1 hour.
- Roll out the dough into a rectangle and spread melted butter over it.
- Sprinkle the crushed Oreo cookies, brown sugar, and cinnamon evenly over the dough.
- Roll the dough tightly and cut it into slices.
- Place the slices in a greased baking dish and let them rise for another 30 minutes.
- Bake in a preheated oven at 350°F (175°C) for 25-30 minutes.
- For the icing, mix cream cheese, powdered sugar, and milk until smooth and drizzle over the warm rolls.
Notes
- For a richer flavor, use more crushed Oreos in the filling.
- These rolls can be made ahead and stored in the refrigerator before baking.
