Ingredients

  • 2 large eggs
  • 4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • Additional melted butter for brushing

Instructions

  1. Prepare the yeast mixture by dissolving yeast in warm milk. Let it stand until frothy, about 5 minutes.
  2. Mix the wet ingredients in a bowl with sugar, melted butter, and eggs. Stir in the yeast mixture.
  3. Incorporate the dry ingredients gradually, mixing until a soft, slightly sticky dough forms.
  4. Knead the dough on a floured surface for 5 minutes until smooth and elastic.
  5. Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover with a towel, and let it rise until doubled in size, approximately 1 hour.
  6. Shape each portion into a round roll and place in a greased baking pan.
  7. Cover the rolls and let them rise until doubled, about 30 minutes.
  8. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  9. Bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
  10. Finish with a brush of melted butter on top before serving.
