Ingredients

- 1 cup warm milk
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 2 large eggs
- 4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon salt
- Additional melted butter for brushing
Instructions
- Prepare the yeast mixture by dissolving yeast in warm milk. Let it stand until frothy, about 5 minutes.
- Mix the wet ingredients in a bowl with sugar, melted butter, and eggs. Stir in the yeast mixture.
- Incorporate the dry ingredients gradually, mixing until a soft, slightly sticky dough forms.
- Knead the dough on a floured surface for 5 minutes until smooth and elastic.
- Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover with a towel, and let it rise until doubled in size, approximately 1 hour.
- Shape each portion into a round roll and place in a greased baking pan.
- Cover the rolls and let them rise until doubled, about 30 minutes.
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
- Finish with a brush of melted butter on top before serving.
Notes
You can prepare the dough ahead of time and refrigerate. Consider adding herbs or cheese for variations.
