Description

A delicious and indulgent lasagna featuring layers of rich Parmesan cheese, savory garlic, and crispy bacon for a flavor explosion.


Ingredients

  • 12 lasagna noodles
  • 2 cups ricotta cheese
  • 3 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 pound bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 cups marinara sauce
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Cook the lasagna noodles according to package instructions; drain and set aside.
  3. In a bowl, mix ricotta cheese, egg, garlic, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  4. Spread a layer of marinara sauce on the bottom of a baking dish.
  5. Layer 4 lasagna noodles over the sauce, followed by half of the ricotta mixture, half of the bacon, and a third of the mozzarella cheese.
  6. Repeat the layers, finishing with a final layer of noodles, marinara sauce, and the remaining mozzarella and Parmesan cheese on top.
  7. Cover with foil and bake for 25 minutes, then remove the foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes until bubbly and golden.
  8. Let it cool for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.

Notes

  • For a vegetarian option, omit the bacon.
  • Feel free to add vegetables like spinach or mushrooms for extra nutrition.
  • Can be made ahead of time and stored in the refrigerator before baking.
