Ingredients

  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted

  • 1 cup milk

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine sliced peaches and 1/2 cup of sugar. Let it sit for about 10 minutes.
  3. In another bowl, mix flour, remaining sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  4. Add milk and melted butter to the dry ingredients and stir until combined.
  5. Pour the batter into a greased baking dish.
  6. Top the batter with the peach mixture, including the juices.
  7. Bake for 40-45 minutes or until the top is golden brown.
  8. Let it cool slightly before serving.
