- 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1 packet instant yeast
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/4 cup butter, melted
- 1 large egg
- 1 cup peach pie filling
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/4 cup powdered sugar
- 1 tablespoon milk (for glaze)
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
- Stir together flour, sugar, instant yeast, and salt in a large mixing bowl.
- Heat milk and melted butter until warm; mix in egg until fully combined.
- Pour the warm mixture into the dry ingredients and mix until a shaggy dough forms.
- Knead the dough on a floured surface until smooth and elastic, about 5–7 minutes.
- Let the dough rise in a warm place, covered with a kitchen towel, for about 1 hour or until doubled in size.
- Roll out the risen dough into a rectangle, about 1/4 inch thick.
- Spread peach pie filling evenly across the dough and sprinkle cinnamon over the top.
- Roll the dough tightly into a log and slice into equal rolls, about 1 to 1.5 inches thick.
- Place the rolls in a greased 9×13-inch baking dish and let them rise for another 30 minutes.
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and bake rolls for 25–30 minutes.
- Mix powdered sugar, one tablespoon of milk, and vanilla for the glaze.
- Drizzle the glaze on the warm rolls after baking.
Notes
Use room temperature ingredients for the best dough texture. You can substitute peach filling with cherries or apples.
