Description

Deliciously rich and creamy Peanut Butter Sandwich Bars with a chewy oat crust and chocolate topping, perfect for any occasion.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup peanut butter
  • 1/2 cup honey or maple syrup
  • 2 cups oats
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips
  • 1/4 cup coconut oil
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine 1 cup of peanut butter and 1/2 cup of honey until smooth and well-blended.
  2. Add 2 cups of oats to the mixture and stir well until every oat is coated.
  3. Press the mixture firmly into a lined square baking dish.
  4. In a small saucepan over low heat, melt 1/2 cup of chocolate chips and 1/4 cup of coconut oil until smooth.
  5. Pour the chocolate mixture over the peanut butter layer and spread evenly.
  6. If desired, sprinkle powdered sugar on top before refrigerating.
  7. Refrigerate your bars for about 60 minutes until set.
  8. After chilling, remove the bars and cut them into squares.

Notes

For best results, refrigerate a day in advance to enhance the flavor. Customize with toppings or mix-ins as desired.
