Delicious and festive cupcakes decorated to resemble Santa hats, perfect for holiday parties.
Ingredients

- 1 box of chocolate cake mix
- 3 large eggs
- 1 cup of water
- 1/2 cup of vegetable oil
- 1 cup of whipped cream
- 12 strawberries
- 1/2 cup of white frosting
- Red food coloring (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a cupcake pan with liners.
- Prepare the chocolate cake mix according to package instructions using eggs, water, and oil.
- Fill each cupcake liner about 2/3 full with the batter.
- Bake for 18-20 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Let the cupcakes cool completely.
- Frost the top of each cupcake with white frosting.
- Place a strawberry upside down on top of the frosting to create the Santa hat shape.
- Pipe a small dollop of whipped cream on top of the strawberry to complete the hat.
- Optionally, sprinkle with red food coloring for extra festive flair.
Notes
- For a richer flavor, consider adding chocolate chips to the batter.
- Make sure the cupcakes are completely cool before frosting to prevent melting.
- These cupcakes can be made a day in advance; just add the strawberries and whipped cream on the day of serving.
