Description

Ingredients

  • 8 slices of bacon
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup cream cheese
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup
  • 2 tablespoons bourbon
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Chives for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cook the bacon in a skillet over medium heat until crispy. Allow to cool and crumble.
  3. Combine cream cheese, cheddar cheese, maple syrup, bourbon, Dijon mustard, garlic powder, salt, and pepper in a mixing bowl. Mix until creamy.
  4. Fold in the crumbled bacon gently.
  5. Transfer the mixture to a baking dish and spread evenly.
  6. Bake for 20-25 minutes until bubbly and golden.
  7. Garnish with chives if desired and serve warm.
