- 8 slices of bacon
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup cream cheese
- 1/4 cup maple syrup
- 2 tablespoons bourbon
- 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Chives for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Cook the bacon in a skillet over medium heat until crispy. Allow to cool and crumble.
- Combine cream cheese, cheddar cheese, maple syrup, bourbon, Dijon mustard, garlic powder, salt, and pepper in a mixing bowl. Mix until creamy.
- Fold in the crumbled bacon gently.
- Transfer the mixture to a baking dish and spread evenly.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes until bubbly and golden.
- Garnish with chives if desired and serve warm.
Notes
Make in advance and refrigerate until ready to bake. Can be served with crackers, veggies, or baguette slices.
