Ingredients

Instructions

  1. Season the brisket with salt and pepper on both sides.

  3. Place the sliced onions and minced garlic in the bottom of the slow cooker.
  4. Transfer the seared brisket to the slow cooker on top of the onions.
  5. In a bowl, mix together the cranberry sauce, beef broth, brown sugar, Worcestershire sauce, thyme, and bay leaf.
  6. Pour the cranberry mixture over the brisket, ensuring it is well coated.
  7. Cover and cook on low for 8-10 hours or until the brisket is fork-tender.
  8. Remove the brisket, let it rest for 10 minutes, then slice against the grain and serve with the sauce.
