- 1 cup fresh strawberries, pureed

Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a cupcake tin with colorful paper liners.
- Cream together the softened butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy, about 3-4 minutes.
- Incorporate the eggs one at a time and mix well after each addition, then add the vanilla extract.
- Whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt in another bowl.
- Combine the dry ingredients with the wet mixture, alternating with the milk, starting and ending with the flour mixture.
- Fold in the pureed strawberries until just combined.
- Distribute the batter evenly into the prepared cupcake liners, filling each about two-thirds full.
- Bake for 18-20 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Let them cool before frosting with the prepared icing of powdered sugar and milk, topped with fresh strawberry slices.
