Ingredients

Scale
  • For the Rolls:
    • 1 cup all-purpose flour
    • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
    • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
    • 1/4 teaspoon salt
    • 1/2 cup milk
    • 1 large egg
    • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
  • For the Cheesecake Filling:
    • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
    • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
    • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
    • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • For the Strawberry Topping:
    • 1 cup fresh strawberries, hulled and sliced
    • 2 tablespoons granulated sugar

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, whisk together milk, egg, and melted butter.
  4. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix until just combined.
  5. Spread the batter onto a greased baking sheet, smoothing it out evenly.
  6. Bake for 15-20 minutes or until the edges are golden and a toothpick comes out clean.
  7. While the rolls cool, prepare the cheesecake filling by beating cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla until smooth.
  8. In a separate bowl, whip the heavy cream until stiff peaks form, then fold it into the cream cheese mixture.
  9. Once the rolls are cool, spread the cheesecake filling evenly over the surface.
  10. Roll the cake tightly from one end to the other and slice into individual rolls.
  11. For the strawberry topping, mix sliced strawberries with sugar and let sit for 10 minutes.
  12. Serve the rolls topped with the macerated strawberries.
