Description
A refreshing and sweet beverage perfect for summer, combining the flavors of strawberries and tea.
Ingredients

- 4 cups water
- 4 tea bags (black or green tea)
- 1 cup fresh strawberries, hulled and sliced
- 1/2 cup sugar (adjust to taste)
- Ice cubes
- Fresh mint leaves for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Boil 4 cups of water in a saucepan.
- Once boiling, remove from heat and add the tea bags. Steep for 5-7 minutes.
- While the tea is steeping, prepare the strawberries by hulling and slicing them.
- After steeping, remove the tea bags and stir in the sugar until dissolved.
- Add the sliced strawberries to the tea and let it cool to room temperature.
- Once cooled, refrigerate the tea for at least 1 hour.
- Serve over ice and garnish with fresh mint leaves if desired.
Notes
- For a stronger strawberry flavor, blend some of the strawberries into a puree before adding them to the tea.
- This tea can be made ahead of time and stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
- Adjust the sweetness by adding more or less sugar according to your preference.
