- Beef Marinade:

- Rolls:
- 10 rice paper wrappers
- 1 cup fresh Thai basil leaves
- 1 cup shredded carrots
- 1 cup cucumber, julienned
- 1 cup bean sprouts
- Dipping Sauce:
- 1/4 cup hoisin sauce
- 1 tablespoon peanut butter
- 1 tablespoon lime juice
- 1 teaspoon chili paste (optional)
Instructions
- In a bowl, combine all marinade ingredients and add the sliced flank steak. Marinate for at least 30 minutes.
- Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and cook the marinated beef for 3-4 minutes until browned and cooked through. Remove from heat and let cool.
- Prepare a shallow dish with warm water. Dip one rice paper wrapper in the water for about 10 seconds until soft.
- Place the softened wrapper on a clean surface and layer with a few basil leaves, a small amount of beef, carrots, cucumber, and bean sprouts.
- Fold the sides of the wrapper over the filling, then roll tightly from the bottom to the top. Repeat with remaining wrappers and filling.
- For the dipping sauce, mix hoisin sauce, peanut butter, lime juice, and chili paste in a small bowl until smooth.
- Serve the rolls with the dipping sauce on the side.
