  • 1 cup fresh Thai basil leaves
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon fish sauce
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 810 rice paper wrappers
  • Vegetable oil for frying

Instructions

  1. In a skillet, heat a little oil over medium heat and sauté the minced garlic until fragrant.
  2. Add the ground beef and cook until browned.
  3. Stir in the soy sauce, fish sauce, and sugar, mixing well.
  4. Remove from heat and fold in the fresh Thai basil leaves.
  5. Soak rice paper wrappers in warm water until soft, then lay them flat on a clean surface.
  6. Place a spoonful of the beef mixture on each wrapper and roll tightly, folding in the sides as you go.
  7. Heat oil in a frying pan and fry the rolls until golden brown and crispy.
  8. Serve hot with your favorite dipping sauce.
