- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 can (12 oz) evaporated milk
- 1 can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Cinnamon for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
- Beat the eggs and sugar together until pale and fluffy.
- Combine flour and baking powder in another bowl, then gradually incorporate into the egg mixture.
- Pour the batter into the baking dish and bake for about 30 minutes.
- Cool the cake in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
- Whisk together evaporated milk, sweetened condensed milk, and heavy cream to create the soaking liquid.
- Poke holes in the cooled cake and pour the milky mixture over it.
- Whip the remaining cream and vanilla extract until soft peaks form and spread over the cake.
- Garnish with cinnamon and refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving.
