- 1 cup (240ml) heavy whipping cream
- 1/2 cup (75g) fresh strawberries, pureed and strained
- 12 oz (340g) dark chocolate, melted
Instructions
- Whip the heavy cream: In a large mixing bowl, use an electric mixer (or a whisk) to whip the heavy whipping cream until stiff peaks form.
- Fold in the strawberry puree: Gently fold the fresh strawberry puree into the whipped cream.
- Prepare the pan: Line your square or rectangular pan with parchment paper and pour the strawberry filling into the lined pan.
- Freeze the mixture: Place the pan in the freezer for at least 120 minutes.
- Slice and coat: Once firm, remove from the freezer and slice into bars. Dip each bar in melted dark chocolate.
- Set the chocolate: Chill the chocolate-coated bars in the fridge until set.
- Serve and enjoy: Serve the bars cold for a refreshing treat.
Notes
These bars are freezer-friendly and can be made ahead of time for convenience. Experiment with flavor variations by adding vanilla or mint to the strawberry puree.
