- 2 slices of bread
- 1 ripe avocado
- 1 cooked chicken breast, sliced
- 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or mozzarella)
- Butter for spreading
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Lightly toast the bread.
- Mash the avocado in a mixing bowl and season with salt and pepper.
- Spread the mashed avocado on one slice of toasted bread.
- Layer the sliced chicken breast over the avocado.
- Add the shredded cheese on top of the chicken.
- Top with the second slice of bread.
- Grill in a non-stick skillet with melted butter over medium heat.
- Cook for 3-5 minutes on each side until golden brown and the cheese melts.
- Serve hot by slicing diagonally.
