Description

A delightful sandwich featuring creamy avocado, juicy chicken, and melted cheese between crispy toasted bread, perfect for lunch or dinner.


Ingredients

  • 2 slices of bread
  • 1 ripe avocado
  • 1 cooked chicken breast, sliced
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or mozzarella)
  • Butter for spreading
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Lightly toast the bread.
  2. Mash the avocado in a mixing bowl and season with salt and pepper.
  3. Spread the mashed avocado on one slice of toasted bread.
  4. Layer the sliced chicken breast over the avocado.
  5. Add the shredded cheese on top of the chicken.
  6. Top with the second slice of bread.
  7. Grill in a non-stick skillet with melted butter over medium heat.
  8. Cook for 3-5 minutes on each side until golden brown and the cheese melts.
  9. Serve hot by slicing diagonally.

Notes

For a vegetarian option, replace chicken with roasted vegetables or chickpeas. Use lime juice to prevent avocado from browning.
