- 2 cups cooked rice
- 2 cups broccoli florets
- 2 cups cheddar cheese, shredded
- 1 cup milk
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup butter, melted
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large bowl, combine the cooked rice, broccoli, and half of the cheddar cheese.
- In another bowl, mix the milk, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
- Pour the milk mixture over the rice and broccoli, and stir to combine.
- Transfer the mixture to a greased baking dish.
- Top with the remaining cheddar cheese and breadcrumbs.
- Drizzle melted butter over the top.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes or until the top is golden and bubbly.
Notes
- For a vegetarian option, ensure the cheese is rennet-free.
