Description

Delicious and comforting Chicken Philly Sliders made with tender chicken, sautéed peppers and onions, and melted provolone cheese.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound cooked chicken, shredded
  • 1 cup bell peppers, sliced
  • 1 cup onions, sliced
  • 8 oz provolone cheese, sliced
  • 1 package slider buns
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional: garlic powder or steak seasoning

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat and sauté the onions and bell peppers until softened.
  3. Introduce the shredded chicken to the skillet and season with salt, pepper, and optional spices.
  4. Layer sliced provolone cheese over the chicken mixture and let it melt slightly.
  5. Slice your slider buns in half and lay the bottom halves on a baking sheet.
  6. Spoon the chicken and cheese mixture onto each bun.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for about 10 minutes until the buns are golden and the cheese is bubbly.
  8. Serve warm and enjoy!

Notes

Make the chicken mixture ahead of time and store in the fridge until ready to bake. You can also air fry the sliders for a quicker option.
