- 1/2 cup cocoa powder

- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/3 cup vegetable oil

- 1/4 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a muffin tin with paper liners.
- Mix together the sourdough starter, all-purpose flour, cocoa powder, sugar, milk, vegetable oil, eggs, and vanilla extract until well combined.
- Whisk together the baking soda, baking powder, and salt, then gradually add this dry mix to the wet ingredients.
- Stir until just combined, being careful not to overmix.
- Fold in the chocolate chips.
- Fill each muffin cup about two-thirds full with the batter.
- Bake for 18-20 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Allow to cool in the pan for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
Notes
