- 1 medium yellow onion, grated
- 2/3 cup panko breadcrumbs
- 1 cup beef broth
- 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
Instructions
- Combine the ground beef, grated onion, panko breadcrumbs, salt, and pepper in a large mixing bowl until thoroughly mixed. Shape into patties, about 1-inch thick.
- Sear the patties in a skillet with olive oil over medium heat for 4-5 minutes on each side, until golden brown.
- Remove the patties and let them rest on a plate.
- Make the gravy in the same skillet by pouring in beef broth and Worcestershire sauce, scraping the bottom for browned bits.
- Simmer the patties in the gravy for 10-15 minutes until cooked through.
- Serve warm with gravy over each patty.
