- 4 tbsp milk powder
- 4 tbsp powdered sugar
- 4 tbsp sugar (for caramel crunch)
- 1 tbsp butter
- 3–4 tbsp almonds (or nuts)
- 2 tbsp coffee powder
- 4 tbsp hot milk
- 1 cup chilled whipping cream
- 3–4 tbsp condensed milk
- 3–4 tbsp chocolate chips (optional)
Instructions
- Prepare the Base: In a saucepan, combine the full-fat milk, cornflour, milk powder, and powdered sugar over low heat. Stir continuously until thickened. Transfer to a bowl and cool completely.
- Create the Caramel Crunch: In a separate pan, melt the sugar over medium heat until golden brown. Add the butter and almonds, stirring quickly to coat, then pour onto a baking sheet to cool. Break into pieces.
- Dissolve the Coffee: In a small bowl, combine coffee powder with hot milk, stirring until dissolved.
- Whip the Cream: In another bowl, whip the chilled cream until soft peaks form. Gently fold in the cooled milk mixture and coffee.
- Add the Crunch: Fold in the caramel crunch and chocolate chips until evenly distributed.
- Freeze: Pour the mixture into a freezer-safe container and freeze for 6 to 8 hours until firm.
- Serve & Enjoy: Scoop into bowls or cones, relishing the combination of creaminess and crunch.
