Description

A guilt-free, luscious chocolate mousse made with cottage cheese for a creamy, indulgent dessert.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup cottage cheese
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 3 tablespoons honey or maple syrup
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. Combine ingredients in a blender or food processor: cottage cheese, cocoa powder, honey or maple syrup, vanilla extract, and a pinch of salt.
  2. Blend until the mixture becomes smooth and creamy.
  3. Taste and adjust sweetness with more honey or maple syrup if desired.
  4. Chill the mousse in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes.
  5. Serve the mousse in dessert glasses and enjoy!

Notes

For a vegan version, swap cottage cheese for silken tofu and use maple syrup. Make ahead and store in airtight containers for up to three days.
