Ingredients

- 1 cup cottage cheese
- 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 3 tablespoons honey or maple syrup
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Pinch of salt
Instructions
- Combine ingredients in a blender or food processor: cottage cheese, cocoa powder, honey or maple syrup, vanilla extract, and a pinch of salt.
- Blend until the mixture becomes smooth and creamy.
- Taste and adjust sweetness with more honey or maple syrup if desired.
- Chill the mousse in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes.
- Serve the mousse in dessert glasses and enjoy!
Notes
For a vegan version, swap cottage cheese for silken tofu and use maple syrup. Make ahead and store in airtight containers for up to three days.
