- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup shredded cheese (e.g., mozzarella or cheddar)
- 1 tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp paprika
- Fresh parsley, for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper, then sear them in the skillet until golden brown—approximately 4-5 minutes on each side. Remove from heat and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add the minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.
- Stir in the heavy cream, shredded cheese, paprika, and additional salt and pepper if desired. Cook until the sauce thickens slightly.
- In a baking dish, place the seared chicken breasts and pour the creamy garlic sauce over the top.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through.
- Garnish with fresh parsley just before serving.
Notes
Preparation can be done a day ahead. Store chicken and sauce separately in the fridge. Reheat before baking.
