Description

Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 tbsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup melted butter
  • 1 egg
  • 4 strips of crispy bacon, chopped
  • 1/2 cup maple syrup
  • 1 cup powdered sugar

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Combine the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt in a large bowl.
  3. Whisk together the milk, melted butter, and egg in another bowl.
  4. Pour the wet mixture into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined.
  5. Fold in the crispy bacon pieces.
  6. Transfer the batter onto the prepared baking sheet in stick shapes, about 1 inch wide.
  7. Bake for 12-15 minutes until golden brown.
  8. Whisk together the maple syrup and powdered sugar for the glaze.
  9. Dip warm donut sticks into the glaze before serving.

Notes

For a lighter option, try air frying at 375°F for 8-10 minutes.
