Description

Delicious and tender meatballs simmered in marinara sauce, perfect for any meal.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup chopped parsley
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 cups marinara sauce

Instructions

  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, chopped parsley, egg, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix gently until all ingredients are combined, avoiding overmixing.
  2. Roll the mixture into golf ball-sized meatballs, ensuring they are uniform.
  3. Arrange the meatballs in a single layer at the bottom of the Crockpot.
  4. Pour the marinara sauce over the meatballs, ensuring every ball gets coated.
  5. Cover the Crockpot and set to cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours.
  6. Serve the meatballs warm, paired with spaghetti or on a meatball sub.

Notes

For a leaner option, ground turkey can be used instead of beef. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to three days.
