Description
Tender beef ribs bathed in a rich BBQ sauce, baked to perfection for a delicious and comforting meal.
Ingredients
Scale
- 3–4 lbs Beef Short Ribs
- 2 tbsp Brown Sugar
- 1 tbsp Smoked Paprika
- 1 tbsp Garlic Powder
- 1 tsp Salt
- 1/2 tsp Black Pepper
- 1 cup Thick BBQ Sauce
- 1 tbsp Apple Cider Vinegar
- Fresh Thyme for Garnish
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 300°F (150°C). Line a baking sheet with foil.
- Prepare the dry rub by mixing together brown sugar, smoked paprika, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper in a mixing bowl. Massage generously all over the beef ribs.
- Wrap the ribs tightly in the foil, sealing the edges, then place on the lined baking sheet. Bake for 2.5 hours until tender.
- Remove from the oven and uncover carefully to avoid steam. Drain any excess fat.
- Prepare the BBQ sauce by combining thick sauce and apple cider vinegar. Brush it over the ribs.
- Increase the oven temperature to broil on high. Broil the ribs for 3-5 minutes until the sauce is bubbly and caramelized.
- Slice between the bones and garnish with fresh thyme before serving.
Notes
Let the dry-rubbed ribs marinate overnight for better flavor. Use air fryer or slow cooker for alternative cooking methods.
