  • 4 Chicken thighs or breasts
  • 3 tbsp Gochujang (Korean chili paste)
  • ¼ cup Soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp Honey
  • 3 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp Ginger, grated
  • 1 tbsp Sesame oil
  • Salt and Pepper to taste
  • 2 Green onions, chopped

Instructions

  1. Combine the marinade: In a large mixing bowl, whisk together gochujang, soy sauce, honey, minced garlic, grated ginger, sesame oil, salt, and pepper until smooth.
  2. Marinate the chicken: Add the chicken, coating each piece fully in the marinade. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
  3. Heat the skillet: When ready to cook, heat vegetable oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  4. Cook the chicken: Add the marinated chicken to the skillet, cooking for 5-7 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  5. Rest and garnish: Remove chicken from skillet and let rest briefly. Sprinkle with green onions before serving.
  6. Serve hot: Enjoy alongside fluffy rice or roasted veggies.

Notes

For deep flavor, marinate the chicken the night before. For a different cooking method, use an air fryer at 375°F (190°C) for 18-20 minutes.
