- Salt and Black Pepper to taste
Instructions
- Season the beef round roast generously with salt, black pepper, and garlic powder.
- Place the seasoned roast in the slow cooker with about 1/2 cup of water or beef broth.
- Cover and cook on Low for 4-5 hours until fork-tender.
- Preheat the broiler in your oven.
- In a mixing bowl, combine honey, brown sugar, Dijon mustard, apple cider vinegar, and ground cloves.
- Slice the tender beef into thick rounds and place them on a foil-lined baking sheet.
- Brush the honey-mustard mixture generously over the sliced beef.
- Broil for 3-5 minutes until caramelized, watching closely to avoid burning.
