Description

A creamy and spicy twist on traditional mac and cheese, featuring jalapeños and a crunchy topping.


Ingredients

  • 8 oz elbow macaroni
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup cream cheese
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup diced jalapeños (fresh or pickled)
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cook the macaroni according to package instructions until al dente; drain.
  3. In a large bowl, mix the cooked macaroni, cheddar cheese, cream cheese, milk, jalapeños, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper until well combined.
  4. Transfer the mixture to a greased casserole dish.
  5. In a separate bowl, mix the breadcrumbs and Parmesan cheese, then sprinkle over the macaroni mixture.
  6. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until the top is golden and bubbly.
  7. Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
