- 1 pound ground sausage
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup jalapeños, diced
- 1 cup biscuit mix
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your oven. Set it to 375°F (190°C) to prepare for baking.
- Combine ingredients. In a large mixing bowl, add the ground sausage, shredded cheddar cheese, softened cream cheese, diced jalapeños, biscuit mix, garlic powder, onion powder, and a sprinkle of salt and pepper. Mix everything together until fully combined.
- Shape the mixture. Roll the mixture into small balls, about 1 inch in diameter.
- Prepare for baking. Place the sausage balls on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, leaving space between each ball.
- Bake to perfection. Slide the baking sheet into your preheated oven and bake for 20-25 minutes.
- Cool and serve. Allow the sausage balls to cool slightly before serving. Enjoy them warm.
Notes
Make-ahead: Mix can be prepared a day in advance and stored in the refrigerator. For a healthier option, use an air fryer for cooking.
