Crunchy on the outside and creamy on the inside, these Jalapeño Popper Sausage Balls are a flavor-packed appetizer perfect for any occasion.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground sausage
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup jalapeños, diced
  • 1 cup biscuit mix
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven. Set it to 375°F (190°C) to prepare for baking.
  2. Combine ingredients. In a large mixing bowl, add the ground sausage, shredded cheddar cheese, softened cream cheese, diced jalapeños, biscuit mix, garlic powder, onion powder, and a sprinkle of salt and pepper. Mix everything together until fully combined.
  3. Shape the mixture. Roll the mixture into small balls, about 1 inch in diameter.
  4. Prepare for baking. Place the sausage balls on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, leaving space between each ball.
  5. Bake to perfection. Slide the baking sheet into your preheated oven and bake for 20-25 minutes.
