Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Generously season the beef tenderloin with salt and black pepper.
  3. Pour olive oil into your large skillet and heat over medium-high heat.
  4. Carefully place the beef tenderloin into the skillet, searing each side for 2-3 minutes.
  5. During the last minute of searing, sprinkle in the minced garlic.
  6. Transfer the seared beef to a baking dish and roast for 25-30 minutes.
  7. Once roasted, let the beef rest for 10 minutes.
