Miso-Glazed Salmon with Rice is a flavorful and healthy dinner option that combines the rich taste of miso with tender salmon and fluffy rice.


Ingredients

  • 4 salmon fillets
  • 1/4 cup miso paste
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
  • 2 cups cooked rice
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 2 green onions, chopped
  • Sesame seeds for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix miso paste, honey, soy sauce, and rice vinegar to create the glaze.
  3. Place the salmon fillets on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  4. Brush the miso glaze generously over the salmon fillets.
  5. Bake the salmon in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until cooked through.
  6. While the salmon is baking, heat sesame oil in a pan and sauté the cooked rice until warmed through.
  7. Serve the salmon over the rice, garnished with chopped green onions and sesame seeds.

Notes

  • For a spicier version, add a dash of sriracha to the glaze.
  • Make sure not to overcook the salmon to keep it moist.
