Description

Delicious Peach Cobbler Bars topped with a crunchy oat crumble, perfect for dessert or a sweet snack.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups fresh peaches, sliced
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix together the flour, oats, brown sugar, granulated sugar, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt.
  3. Add the melted butter and vanilla extract to the dry ingredients and mix until crumbly.
  4. Press half of the mixture into the bottom of a greased baking dish.
  5. Layer the sliced peaches over the crust.
  6. Sprinkle the remaining crumble mixture over the peaches.
  7. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until the top is golden brown.
  8. Allow to cool before cutting into bars.

Notes

  • For a sweeter taste, add more sugar to the peaches.
  • Serve warm with ice cream for an extra treat.
  • Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
