- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1/4 cup melted butter
- 1 packet (2 1/4 tsp) active dry yeast
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 egg
- 1 cup diced peaches
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 1–2 tablespoons milk (for glaze)
Instructions
- Combine warm milk and yeast in a small bowl; let sit for 5 minutes until foamy.
- Whisk together flour, sugar, salt, and melted butter in a larger bowl.
- Pour in yeast mixture and add egg to the dry ingredients, stirring until a soft dough forms.
- Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 5 minutes until smooth and elastic.
- Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover with a towel, and let rise for 1 hour or until doubled in size.
- Prepare the filling by mixing diced peaches, cornstarch, and cinnamon in a bowl.
- Roll out the dough into a rectangle on a floured surface.
- Spread the peach mixture evenly over the dough.
- Roll the dough into a log and slice into 1-inch pieces.
- Arrange rolls in a greased baking pan and let rise for another 30 minutes.
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Bake rolls for 25-30 minutes until golden brown.
- Whisk together powdered sugar and milk for the glaze, then drizzle over the rolls after cooling slightly.
Notes
Make-ahead: Prepare dough the night before and let rise in fridge. Can be cooked in an air fryer for quicker results.
