Description

Peach and Vanilla Bean Panna Cotta is a creamy and delicious dessert that combines the sweetness of ripe peaches with the rich flavor of vanilla bean, creating a delightful treat perfect for any occasion.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla bean paste
  • 2 1/2 teaspoons unflavored gelatin
  • 3 tablespoons cold water
  • 2 ripe peaches, diced
  • Mint leaves for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a saucepan, combine the heavy cream, whole milk, and sugar. Heat over medium heat until the sugar dissolves and the mixture is hot but not boiling.
  2. Stir in the vanilla bean paste.
  3. In a small bowl, sprinkle the gelatin over the cold water and let it sit for about 5 minutes to bloom.
  4. Once the cream mixture is hot, remove it from the heat and stir in the bloomed gelatin until fully dissolved.
  5. Pour the mixture into individual serving cups or molds and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or until set.
  6. Before serving, top each panna cotta with diced peaches and garnish with mint leaves if desired.

Notes

  • For a smoother texture, strain the mixture before pouring it into cups.
  • Make sure the panna cotta is fully set before serving.
