- 1 cup whole milk
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1 tablespoon vanilla bean paste
- 2 1/2 teaspoons unflavored gelatin
- 3 tablespoons cold water
- 2 ripe peaches, diced
- Mint leaves for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- In a saucepan, combine the heavy cream, whole milk, and sugar. Heat over medium heat until the sugar dissolves and the mixture is hot but not boiling.
- Stir in the vanilla bean paste.
- In a small bowl, sprinkle the gelatin over the cold water and let it sit for about 5 minutes to bloom.
- Once the cream mixture is hot, remove it from the heat and stir in the bloomed gelatin until fully dissolved.
- Pour the mixture into individual serving cups or molds and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or until set.
- Before serving, top each panna cotta with diced peaches and garnish with mint leaves if desired.
Notes
- For a smoother texture, strain the mixture before pouring it into cups.
- Make sure the panna cotta is fully set before serving.
- This dessert can be made a day in advance.
