- 8 oz penne pasta
- 1 lb thinly sliced beef (such as ribeye or sirloin)
- 1 medium onion, sliced
- 1 green bell pepper, sliced
- 2 cups shredded provolone cheese
- 1 cup beef broth
- 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Cook the penne pasta according to package instructions until al dente; drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the sliced onion and bell pepper, cooking until softened.
- Add the sliced beef to the skillet, cooking until browned. Season with salt, pepper, and Worcestershire sauce.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked pasta, beef mixture, and beef broth. Mix well.
- Transfer the mixture to a greased baking dish and top with shredded provolone cheese.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Let cool for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
- For a spicier version, add sliced jalapeños or hot sauce.
- Feel free to substitute the beef with chicken or turkey for a lighter option.
