Description
A comforting and delicious layered ravioli lasagna with ground beef, marinara sauce, and plenty of melted cheese.
Ingredients
Scale
- 12 oz refrigerated ravioli (cheese, meat, or butternut squash)
- 1 lb ground beef (or substitute with ground turkey or lentils)
- 2 cups marinara sauce
- 1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
- 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Olive oil for cooking
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Heat a tablespoon of olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the ground beef, seasoning with salt and pepper, and cook until browned (about 5-7 minutes). Drain any excess fat.
- Stir in the marinara sauce and Italian seasoning. Let simmer for a few minutes.
- Layer half of the ravioli in a baking dish, followed by half of the meat sauce and half of the cheeses. Repeat the layers.
- Cover the dish with foil and bake for 30 minutes.
- Remove the foil and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes until the cheese is golden brown and bubbly.
- Let cool for a few minutes before slicing and serving.
Notes
Assemble the ravioli lasagna a day in advance and store in the fridge, increasing baking time by 10-15 minutes when ready to bake. For an air fryer version, cook at 375°F for a similar time, monitoring for doneness.
