Description

A comforting and delicious layered ravioli lasagna with ground beef, marinara sauce, and plenty of melted cheese.


Ingredients

  • 12 oz refrigerated ravioli (cheese, meat, or butternut squash)
  • 1 lb ground beef (or substitute with ground turkey or lentils)
  • 2 cups marinara sauce
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Olive oil for cooking

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Heat a tablespoon of olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the ground beef, seasoning with salt and pepper, and cook until browned (about 5-7 minutes). Drain any excess fat.
  3. Stir in the marinara sauce and Italian seasoning. Let simmer for a few minutes.
  4. Layer half of the ravioli in a baking dish, followed by half of the meat sauce and half of the cheeses. Repeat the layers.
  5. Cover the dish with foil and bake for 30 minutes.
  6. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes until the cheese is golden brown and bubbly.
  7. Let cool for a few minutes before slicing and serving.

Notes

Assemble the ravioli lasagna a day in advance and store in the fridge, increasing baking time by 10-15 minutes when ready to bake. For an air fryer version, cook at 375°F for a similar time, monitoring for doneness.
