A simple and delicious focaccia recipe that requires no kneading and can be prepared in under an hour.
Ingredients

- 280 g all-purpose flour (about 2 1/4 cups)
- 240 g lukewarm water (1 cup)
- 1 tsp instant or active dry yeast
- Salt to taste
- Olive oil for drizzling
- Optional toppings: fresh herbs, olives, sun-dried tomatoes, or sea salt
Instructions
- Combine the flour, yeast, and salt in a large bowl.
- Pour in the lukewarm water and stir until a wet, sticky dough forms.
- Cover the bowl with a damp cloth or plastic wrap and let it rest at room temperature for about 120 minutes.
- Preheat your oven to 220°C (425°F) with a baking sheet inside to heat.
- Transfer the dough onto a floured surface, shaping it into portions for the baking sheet.
- Place the dough portions onto parchment paper and drizzle with olive oil and toppings.
- Transfer the parchment with dough onto the heated baking sheet.
- Bake for about 20 minutes, or until golden brown and fragrant.
- Cool slightly before serving.
Notes
This focaccia can be stored in an airtight container for up to two days or frozen for longer storage. Reheat in the oven for best texture.
