Description
A tender and flavorful beef brisket cooked slowly to perfection in a slow cooker, perfect for cozy dinners.
Ingredients
Scale
- 3–4 pounds beef brisket
- 1 onion, sliced
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 cups beef broth
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tablespoon smoked paprika
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- Salt to taste
Instructions
- Place the sliced onions and minced garlic at the bottom of the slow cooker.
- Season the beef brisket generously with smoked paprika, black pepper, and salt, then position it atop the onions and garlic.
- Combine the beef broth, soy sauce, brown sugar, and Worcestershire sauce in a mixing bowl and stir until the sugar dissolves.
- Pour the mixture over the brisket, ensuring it covers the meat well.
- Cover the slow cooker and set it to cook on low for 8–10 hours, or until the brisket is fork-tender.
- Remove the brisket from the slow cooker and allow it to rest for about 10 minutes before slicing.
Notes
The brisket tastes even better the next day. For a quicker method, consider using an oven at 300°F for about 4 hours wrapped in foil.
