Instructions
- Sear the Beef: In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat. Sear the beef tenderloin on all sides until beautifully browned.
- Transfer to Slow Cooker: Gently place the browned beef in your slow cooker.
- Sauté the Vegetables: In the same skillet, add the chopped onions, minced garlic, and sliced mushrooms. Sauté until softened.
- Combine the Liquids: Pour in the beef broth and Worcestershire sauce, season with salt and pepper, and stir well.
- Add to the Slow Cooker: Pour the mixture over the beef tenderloin, ensuring it’s evenly coated.
- Let It Cook: Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours.
- Finish with Cream: Remove the beef and stir the heavy cream into the sauce.
