Ingredients

  • 8 oz. Chinese wheat noodles
  • 1 lb. ground pork
  • 2 tbsp. soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp. sesame oil
  • 2 tbsp. chili oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 inch ginger, minced
  • 2 green onions, chopped
  • 1 tbsp. peanut butter
  • 1 tbsp. rice vinegar
  • 1 tsp. sugar
  • Salt to taste

Instructions

  1. Cook the Chinese wheat noodles according to package instructions.
  2. In a large skillet, heat sesame oil over medium heat.
  3. Add minced garlic and ginger, sauté until fragrant.
  4. Add ground pork and cook until browned.
  5. Stir in soy sauce, chili oil, peanut butter, rice vinegar, and sugar.
  6. Mix well and let simmer for a few minutes.
  7. Toss the cooked noodles in the sauce until well coated.
  8. Serve hot, garnished with chopped green onions.

Notes

  • Adjust the level of chili oil to taste for desired spiciness.
  • Can substitute ground pork with ground chicken or turkey for a lighter option.
