- 8 oz. Chinese wheat noodles
- 1 lb. ground pork
- 2 tbsp. soy sauce
- 1 tbsp. sesame oil
- 2 tbsp. chili oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 inch ginger, minced
- 2 green onions, chopped
- 1 tbsp. peanut butter
- 1 tbsp. rice vinegar
- 1 tsp. sugar
- Salt to taste
Instructions
- Cook the Chinese wheat noodles according to package instructions.
- In a large skillet, heat sesame oil over medium heat.
- Add minced garlic and ginger, sauté until fragrant.
- Add ground pork and cook until browned.
- Stir in soy sauce, chili oil, peanut butter, rice vinegar, and sugar.
- Mix well and let simmer for a few minutes.
- Toss the cooked noodles in the sauce until well coated.
- Serve hot, garnished with chopped green onions.
Notes
- Adjust the level of chili oil to taste for desired spiciness.
- Can substitute ground pork with ground chicken or turkey for a lighter option.
- For a vegetarian version, use tofu instead of meat.
