Instructions
- Begin by preparing the angel food cake according to the package instructions. Allow it to cool completely.
- While the cake cools, combine the sliced strawberries, sugar, and vanilla extract in a mixing bowl. Let them macerate for about 15 minutes.
- Next, gently fold the whipped cream into the strawberry mixture until fully combined.
- Once the angel food cake has cooled, cut it into small, bite-sized cubes.
- In your serving dish, layer half of the angel food cake cubes, followed by half of the strawberry mixture. Repeat the layers, finishing with the strawberry mixture on top.
- Chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes before serving.
