Description

Deliciously stuffed jalapeños wrapped in crispy bacon, filled with leftover brisket and creamy cheeses, offering a heavenly blend of flavors.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup leftover brisket, shredded
  • 6 fresh jalapeños
  • 4 oz cream cheese
  • 1 cup sharp cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 6 slices bacon
  • 2 tbsp BBQ sauce
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Slice the jalapeños in half lengthwise and remove the seeds.
  3. Combine brisket, cream cheese, cheddar cheese, and spices in a mixing bowl.
  4. Fill each jalapeño half generously with the brisket mixture.
  5. Wrap each filled jalapeño with a slice of bacon.
  6. Arrange the wrapped jalapeños on a lined baking sheet.
  7. Bake for 20-25 minutes until the bacon is crispy.
  8. Drizzle with BBQ sauce before serving.

Notes

Make ahead by preparing the filling a day in advance. Use an air fryer for quicker cooking at 375°F (190°C) for about 15 minutes.
